Marcus Jordan, the 34-year of son of Michael Jordan, was arrested early Tuesday on a handful of charges related to an incident in which he reportedly got his Lamborghini SUV stuck on a railroad tracks after a night out.

According to TMZ, police documents state that the incident went down around 1:14 a.m. in Maitland, FL, after authorities spotted the headlights of Jordan’s vehicle on the train tracks. When officers approached, they noticed damage to the bumper and rocks strewn around, indicating that he had attempted to leave the scene. During questioning, a strong odor of alcohol was allegedly detected on Jordan’s breath and he also exhibited slurred speech and bloodshot, glassy eyes.

Jordan reportedly told police that he had taken a wrong turn and needed help getting his car off the tracks, but refused to exit the vehicle when he was ordered to do so. Although he admitted to visiting a gentleman’s club earlier that evening and consuming alcoholic beverages, he insisted that his blood alcohol level was under the legal limit.

However, after he failed a series of three field sobriety tests, Jordan was placed under arrest for DUI. After he was arrested, a search uncovered a white powdery substance in his pocket of his pants that tested positive for cocaine. He also was said to have refused to provide breath samples after he was placed in custody.

The arresting officers stated that Jordan was “combative” when they attempted to detain him in the squad car, but once they subdued him he was apparently “singing the entire way” to lockup.

Jordan was eventually booked on three separate charges; DUI crash with property damage, possession of cocaine, and resisting an officer without violence. Page Six reports that his bond was set at $4,000, but it’s unclear if he’s still in jail.

Other than his famous dad, Jordan is perhaps best known for his high profile relationship with Larsa Pippen, 50, star of The Real Housewives of Miami and ex-wife of Scottie Pippen, Michael Jordan’s former teammate on the Chicago Bulls. Their relationship was controversial for the aforementioned reason as well as their 16-year age gap, but the couple ended their two-year relationship in April 2024.
